Privacy Policy

Effective October 30, 2026. This policy covers the Holler POS app for iPhone and iPad. It explains, in plain language, what Holler stores and what it doesn't do.

1. Who we are

Holler POS ("Holler") is a point-of-sale app for food trucks. It runs on an iPhone at the order window and an iPad in the kitchen.

Holler is made by David Bryan Smith. When this policy says "we" or "us", it means the maker of Holler.

2. What Holler collects

Holler is used by food truck owners and their staff. Here is what it keeps.

Staff and owner accounts

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number, if you add one
  • Password, stored only in protected (hashed) form, never as plain text

Orders, menu and sales

  • Orders taken at the window and sent to the kitchen. Staff can type in a customer's name and phone number with an order. This is optional.
  • Menu items you set up
  • Sales records for your truck, including cash-drawer records

Customer list

Each truck has its own customer list with names, phone numbers and email addresses. That list belongs to the truck business.

3. Where it is stored

Your account, orders, menu items and sales records are stored on Holler's own server.

4. How we use it

We use this information only to run the app for you: to sign you in, take and send orders, show your menu, and keep your sales records.

5. No ads, no tracking tools, no selling

  • Holler has no ads.
  • Holler has no tracking tools.
  • We do not sell your data.

This website doesn't use ads, analytics or tracking cookies either.

6. Payments

Card payments are not available in Holler 1.0. The app records cash and pay-later orders only, so Holler does not collect any card details.

7. Deleting your account

You can delete your account in the app. Go to More > Settings > Delete my account, then confirm by tapping Delete my account.

If you can't find this option, email privacy@hollerfoodtruck.app and we'll delete your account for you.

When your account is deleted:

  • You can't sign in anymore. This takes effect right away.
  • Your email, name and phone number are removed or replaced, and your password stops working.
  • You are removed from the truck.
  • Orders, menu items and cash-drawer records belong to the truck business, so they are kept, but without your contact details. This is what we mean when we say your sales records are anonymized.

To delete all of a truck's data, the truck owner can email privacy@hollerfoodtruck.app.

8. Children

Holler is a business tool for food truck owners and their staff. Holler is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top.

10. Contact
